Why is education so vital? What secrets does knowledge hold?
Is getting a job just to support your family with earned gold?
I beg to differ my friend, for our purpose is far greater,
For each of us has the potential to make this world much better,

Each of us can expand the bounds of technology, we can make a better place,
We have limitless potential regardless of our gender, colour and race,
The only tool we truly need is the resource of education,
So we can succeed where other's have failed, we can help our nation,

Technology is remarkable, it makes miracles happen everyday,
Bringing us closer to a better life, enhancing our life in every way,
There was a time where men believed he could not touch the sky,
Some gave up hope and some made an effort to make us fly,

And now we have satellites, robots, spacecrafts, we have conquered the moon,
We have a machine on mars, what else will we do soon?
We have cured men of HIV, we have found so many new ways to save lives,
We have found ways to help the environment, ways to return men safely to their wives,

No matter what our field we have a way to contribute to mother earth,
Be it to it's environment, its creatures, mankind, we know how much knowledge is worth,
We have achieved so much, we should focus so much more on education,
Especially the younger generation, the future leaders of our nation,

The future leaders that are being molded, the ones the people of earth need,
The marks on earth that our genetics leave behind, every single one a magical planted seed,
They will be the ones to take after us, perhaps make the miracles we cant make,
They will learn from history making our mistakes the stepping stones they take,

Which is why as parents its our duty to give them the best that we can,
They have as much potential as us, every future woman and man,
They could revolutionize anything in their field, from theories to an invention,
The next person to change our world could be a lifeform still in a period gestation,

What if the cure for cancer lies in one of us and we just didn't have the resources to test it out?
Ergo, we also have to learn to acknowledge others, we should not always be in doubt,
Our race is constantly evolving, our knowledge blooms beautifully like a flower,
When we know better we can do better, Knowledge is truly power,

We know an investment in education brings the best interests, history proves this to be true,
Not just knowledge for the young, we can revolutionize this world, it's also for me and you,
Education is the premise of progress, in every family, every society that we know,
It is what makes critical thinkers, it makes us think out of the box and grow,

Creativity is enhanced with a proper education, a bullet is of little use without a gun,
What use is a sundial if left in the shed? Education can make a limbless man run,
We have restored the sight of the blind, we have so many secrets to unlock,
Our knowledge is the yardstick of our civilization, it can help us turn back the clock,

We can reverse global warming one day, believe me i know we can,
We can reverse and undo the mistakes made in poor judgement by man,
The possibilities are limitless, we have potential to save mother earth,
Education is our key, we should all know how much knowledge is worth,
