What If?
What if birds couldn't fly on a warm summer day
or the stars weren't there to show us the way?
What if the night was the day, and the day was the night
and we snuggled in bed, while it was still light?
What if we were all silent, not a voice to be heard
and we went on through life without saying a word
Read lots of poems today, even went to a Poetry Reading in my town listening to lots of poems, but I really liked this poem the most today.Good for you. I hope you keep writing. I give this a 10. Sincerely, Connie Webb
