What If? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

What If?

What if?
You ask me to comfort.
Best "Shut up."
You and I,

You don't ask
Don't insist
No reply
To give; I

I drove in a car
For bread and a life
Too careful
Went around

Then for weeks in coma
Still; now
I am young
Have no one; and no job

Think and think
To yourself
To me, I
A victim have become

"What if you had lost leg? "
You ask me
You are late
What if I, was not born?

I hate you
Filled of it I go round
Of you and
These people and the God

I have legs
And have hands but not mind
I'm injured; half understand
Wish did not...
