What If Poem by Shameem Khan

What If

What if I were a bird flying high up over the mountainous range.
What if I were a floating cloud away from the cities crowd.
What if I were a busy bee humming the notes of eternal joy.
What if I were a running deer jumping with excitement.
What if I were a cool breeze whispering in the natures bower.
What if I were a delicate flower displaying the hues of God.
What if I were a droplet of rain healing the wounds of man.
What if I were a beaded bubble about to face eternity.
What if I were a new born snow stealing from earth the worries and woe.
What if I were a seven colored rainbow flying in the sky with a peaceful dove.
What if I were a butterfly with a nectar to spy.
What if I were a dew drop twinkling on the green grass with an early birds hop.
What if I were a blue bells jingle spreading the fragrance of the flowers with a mingle.
What if.......
