What if i’d been sensible
Hadn’t made that mistake
Hadn’t made you think that about me
Would i be the same?

Would i be ashamed still
About something else perhaps
Would i blame myself each day
For that ‘small’ mishap

Would it have made a difference
if i’d have waited, changed my mind
never thought about it or
Made the decision another time

But i didn’t change my mind
I went through with it too soon
I changed my life forever
For all the wrong reasons too
