What If Poem by David Stuart Jones

What If

WHAT IF

Young boy playing in his grandmothers garden
his mother tells him to be careful and keep clean,
As she didn't want his best shirt to be torn.
It was a nice shirt with a special logo and picture on it
a picture of the world, and be nice to it, printed on it.
Busy playing the boy spots a big spider crawling along
the pathway, one of its legs was white a birth defect
The boy looks at it and stamps on it.
Many years later the boy dies at a grand old age of
92 and is reincarnated....

He is reincarnated as a spider he notices one of his legs
Is white
Towards him comes a boy
The boy is wearing a shirt with a picture of the world
and be nice to it printed on it
