Ever since you left
I'm changing from how I used to be
I don't want to be like this
or like what I've become
But it's the only way I've learned that gets me through
and keeps me from going insane

Ever since you left
I'm changing from how I used to be
I started using drugs
and drinking almost all day and night
I can't find anything that makes me happy
and the thought of my son not knowing who I am
and losing you
I never laugh
and smile yeah but only here and there
til I can learn other ways that get me through
this is how I'm going to be
