What Have You Done To Me? Poem by Sahra Hussein

What Have You Done To Me?

Rating: 4.5

You came from nowhere, and gave me your words
Once again you appeared my way, and saved my day
Once more you wiped my tears and made me laugh
Without permission, you became my memories
Without notice, you took me into your heart
Why do I think of you every day I wonder about the state of my heart?

I never understand, it is just like a dream
I smile with my soul, keep hoping for you
I only look back, eagerly waiting to see you
I imagine you with me, only keep dreaming.
Oh God!
What have you really done to me, to be like this?
I can’t understand the state of my heart any more

My heart beats fast, and has this strange feeling
Even though I miss you; I can’t say I want to be with you
Oh God
What have you really done to me, to be like this?
I can’t understand the state of my heart any more.

I never understand, it is just like a dream
I smile with my soul, keep hope in you
I only look back, eagerly waiting to see you
I image you with me, only keep dream.
Oh God
What have you really done to me, be to be like this?
I can’t understand the state of my heart any more.

I never thought I would be like this
Oh God
What have you really done to me, be to be like this?
I can’t understand the state of my heart any more.
