What Else!
Had you ever stopped?
I should not have flopped
I would have been different
Totally different personality than what I am at present
It is time that shapes
Person from raw and sour to sweet grapes
If proper care is taken in time
The result is obvious sometimes
I was complaining to mother
“Why were you so lenient than others”?
She smiled and offered no argument
There was nothing with her to comment
She just stared in my eyes
She just looked to see world and tried?
“Is that so my dear son” she was in smiles
“Today you are famous person” she continued for a while
It was all due to her blessings
Today I am successful and nothing goes as missing
Even though humanity is not thought of my liking
She had injected it in me and it was almost striking
Sometimes I used to show little respect
Got angry at silly things and reacted
Mom’s face used to appear straight before my memory screen
I used to cool down and changed as if never was seen
“Lovely son, I could give you that as gift”
Kindness is what any woman may give without any shift
Her love is eternal and for entire mankind
Why do you forget it as essential to be kind?
I just bowed to her thoughts
Such type of explanation was never sought
Yet she could do it at ease
What else I needed to please?
