What Do I Write? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

What Do I Write?

In Thailand where the King is the God
Capital is Bangkok
In city there is a park, very large
The center is water, huge pond
Waiters move on skates
Bring dishes, and the food, take orders

In water are crab and the fish creatures
You as guest have the right of choosing
“This fish please” you look, point
The net goes, fishes move
Many are similar, you mix up
Fisher asks “Happy Sir? ”

“Fish is fish” you whisper
Nod your head and confirm
“Is this that? ” is question
In your heart and in head

My writings are the same
I decide, aim for one
With other I end up
“Is this right? ” I question
“That is yours so shut up”
I tell me; that is all.
