I can’t feel the pouring rain
The tears are too much to bear
So many thoughts running through my mind
What did I say?
What did I do wrong?

His face
The hatred in his eyes
The hurtful words he said
It was unlike him
He had changed
What did I do wrong?

What if I go back?
What if I
Beg him to forgive me
Beg him to take me back
Beg him to love me again
Beg him to stay with me
I just don’t understand
What I did wrong.
