Each time you look at us
You’re always going to see her
Images of her beauty

She gave you her love
She gave you her heart
But you took and you broke
Leaving no signs of remorse

The offspring that she gave you
Now mourns her loss
Your presence and comfort
Nowhere to be seen
You betrayed something special
That could have made you have peace

You deserted a foundation
Once built on a rock
Your mind twisted and bitter
The shame you now rest in

A home once filled with love
Broken and loss
The story of your life
Pity from your offspring
