What At A Sunrise Ends Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

What At A Sunrise Ends

Two reside within togetherness,
in secret places hidden;
cast aside in all thought,
except their passion's flaming;
bond made in their souls,
touch fulfills their cravings;
pure physical desires do flow,
young life is now raving.

Behind colours in hues of dark,
touch of lust survives;
yearning fits on strained limbs,
climbing to love's heights;
lasting groans, unyielding moans,
compassion's flowing sighs;
lost, in bliss' fervor's mists,
into both pairs of their eyes.

Through time in dark's night,
sleeps a never ended thought;
slightest twinge in lusting ends,
lovers nature's bought;
burned within young vivid minds,
moods of two are taught;
picture thirst as hunger tastes,
deep desire is wrought.

Search deep in one's thought
for wordless screaming grunts;
push and pull of thirsty musk,
fills the room with scent;
shines of glistened sweats at dawn,
rise up as key is sought;
one night's passion spent,
as both souls a love confronts.

Closed to all in endless fall,
to the fire of a new life;
trapped in time, each other's arms,
entwine a love so rife;
known only then, two young hearts
leaping bounds and fend;
as smoothing touch fills sweet's dreams,
of what at the sunrise ends.
