What Am I But A Heart Mistaken Poem by One Tap

What Am I But A Heart Mistaken

What am I but a heart mistaken
Forgotten
Forsaken
What am i but a wind in the shadows
But a hand holding emptiness
Corrupted by the shallows
Of life
Drowning men
With blindness
Taking breath with hopelessness
Alone this world swallows
Alone we leave
But hope and sorrows
May the wealth in me
Be accepted and forgiven
With that which I follow
With that which lies deep beneath me
As a secret without voice
Without colour that fill the eyes
Without hope we are all nothing
But the best in life
Life
Our lives
