What Am I Poem by Collins Onyedikachukwu Levi

What Am I

What is life if you are not here with me?
What is life if you can’t guarantee me?
What is life without time?
What am I now that I have time on my side?
What have I not that can distract me?
What is it that don’t have now that I have got love
Your love is just perfect and me imperfect just the way that I am
Your love is the light of my life
Your love is the life of my life
Your love, can’t explain, it takes all of me any time think about you
Your presence alone takes me of the normal being
Your love gave me life above normalcy
Your love has taken all of me, I have noting of my own since I came in contact with you
The truth is, I never loved you
I never wanted you
I never imagined you and me
In the past I could not see the picture of us
How come we into these
How do we get to meet?
Who told you about me?
If I had known you seven years ago, what would I look like?
What have become of me?
Can you see how far we have gone, how did it happen
How come we are these closes?
The fact is, I don’t deserve you
But why did you reach out for me
Sometimes I ask myself, why are raining your love on me
In spite of what I do, say even think, you still give me these big hug
Your kiss changed my voice
Your touch changed the whole of me
All of a sudden you became my voice, my eyes and all
What sort of love is this?
How come you love me this way?
What manna of love dose the father has for me that he gave his all for me
How much am I worth that you can’t let go of me?
What is me that you are mindful of me?
What have you seen in me that made you chose me
Am just a man I don’t deserve you Jesus but loved me?
I love you Lord, I love you
