Whack-A-Mole Poem by Ima Ryma

Whack-A-Mole

The power elites of D.C.
Are ever playing politics.
The nation suffers injury.
D.C. just gives a bandaid fix
For We the People overall.
Special treatment is reserved for
Special interests with speed dial call,
That D.C. powers don't ignore.
If pressure causes too much heat,
The D, C. powers then react,
Flailing about in boastful beat,
Pretending the problem is whacked.

The D.C. powers that control
Govern by playing Whack-A-Mole.
