Weight Of Ages Hangs Heavy: Over Beginning Time Poem by Terence George Craddock

Weight Of Ages Hangs Heavy: Over Beginning Time

Rating: 5.0

the weight of ages
hangs dust layers
heavy over prehistories
over forgotten beginnings
spark beginning of time

yet universal themes
are past present future
then now tomorrow

are one continuum
hung outside time
instant eternal seals

we meet in the laws
of God parodox time
or scientific big bangs

born into first fears
of life death struggled
through into mortality

immortality
eternity
serendipities

knowledge ignorance pale
into splintered or focused pin points
of perception we are raised

up by rare realization
that all life is sacred
salvation may be blessed

chaliced damned
by affixed laws
or social judgements

pierce society
but ultimately
we wise realize

no laws are greater than love
bliss of knowing compassion forgiveness
kindness humility honour justice

are all aspects
of sustaining
nurturing

sacred power
love freely given
regenerating
