Week End Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I long for week end
To meet relatives and friend
The hectic schedule makes me weary
I need some change already

I sleep long
Even though it is wrong
I have long list to comply
Many friends wait for early reply

I have to meet her secretly
That has been struck lately
But I need to plan surely
As she has promised to see me early

I wish the day to pass slowly
Not all events pass off easily
Each one should give me tremendous joy
I want it to be fully enjoyed

I shall only take morning coffee
Then with breakfast I shall feel free
Get ready to fly off to easy reach
She shall be there waiting to catch

I am planning smooth change over
She shall be my life's cover
I have still not thought seriously
But it keeps me in hurry cautiously
