We Were Children Once....
a little girl in the
office is a subject of
the complaint by the other
members of the staff,
a sore presence
a disruption of office work
she creates mess
and dirties the furniture
with candy wrappers
seeing all this i have
to decide
i opined, ' she is only
a child once,
so let her be'
how can they object?
to the truths of what
we once were
perhaps even worse....
