Some days our life is stormy
It seems we’re all alone
The sky so dark and gloomy
Our heart seems turned to stone

The folks around us oblivious
As to what we feel inside
Everyone’s going their own way
Our hurt we have to hide

Day upon day goes by
And no one seems to care
If only others would notice
So our pain we’d be able to share

“Oh Lord, ” we cry in silence,
“Please tell me what to do
As I close my eyes and pray
I want to feel close to you”

Because God is ALWAYS with us
Just like that treasured song
He will always be our answer
For we never walk alone!
