We Have Decided To Start Anew....



under the moon
when talk is less
where poetry is more
like gaze and
touch

where words are
set aside as flowers from the vase
petals plucked
thorns and stalk thrown apart

we have decided to
start anew
with what prose is left
upon another
first kiss after fifty-four years
