We Fell In Love
I drift and wonder
how could this be?
Friends we were
jokes we shared
yet i never saw it coming.
Its something profound
and divine
yet so complicated
i adore the fact
but hate the fact that
to aid thou i cant.
So i sit outside
gazing at the heavens
a question on my mind
why now and not before?
I understand it though
and i smile
there is a reason
so in time i rest assured
cupid knows her ways.
