We Care Poem by Aric Beers

We Care

We talk and chat but you're too sad
To see that there's some out there who'd see you glad
You don't see that some do care
You're too busy complaining how life ain't fair
I try to be nice but you cause me to be blunt
I can't lie so I'll tell you up front
Get yourself up off the ground
Look and hope will be found
It's there if you actually look
If you spent the time it took
Look and see that this life has some good
Be strong and find hope like you know you should
I know I can't actually be there for you
But I'm still here to tell you what to do
I'm here to tell you it'll be fine
If you can learn not to complain and whine
I'm telling you we really care
We're concerned about this weight you bear
