We Both Miss Each Other Poem by Akhtar Jawad

We Both Miss Each Other

Rating: 5.0

You say I left you,
I say you left me,
both are sad!
Are we mad?
Neither had you left me,
nor had I left you.
Why don’t we meet once again,
why to refrain?
Is it your ego?
Is it my ego?
Let us kill it.
Can’t we talk?
Together we may walk.
Slowly gradually I shall catch your hand,
You will turn your face,
I missed you,
I missed you too,
And then a kiss,
will end the strife!

Is it your ego Or is it my ego? 10 for this absolute lovely poem. None is blamed for breakup.

Usually under some momentary displeasure if lovers or married couples stay away, they will soon be struck by a sense of loneliness and also a desire to compromise and come together. But their sense of ego prevents them from doing so. If one of them takes the initiative, the relationship can easily be reinstated! Again..... a study of the working of human mind and a beautiful poem!
