We Are Travelers On A Different Stage

We are Travelers on a Different Stage.

Opus 139

We are travelers on a different stage,
Blessed with love and good fortune.
We crow at midnight not at dawn;
We awaken to a different moon.
But we awaken opportune.

Such was not always the same.
We often went without the flame
That guides us through the dark.
But on we went without a doubt
Those things would never be the same.

We have traveled far and wide
And searched for answers, on our ride,
That gave us meaning to our life
And overcame the pain of pride
That robbed us of our pulchritude.

Now here we are on Christmas day,
The travelers from far away
With promise of a better way.
The workmen on another play
Upon a different stage.
