and why do you
persist?

no one hears you
and no one cares

and why do trees
keep growing?
why does autumn keep
on falling?

look at the sun and the
sea

feel the vastness
this ceaseless flow

this eternity this
madness for goodness

this faith to life
this death this door this
entrance to the unknown

how can we ever stop?
we are
and we cannot...
