We Are All The Same Poem by Philo Yan

We Are All The Same

When the skin is pushed aside
We are all the same inside
Made of bones, organs, veins and blood
pumped by a muscle, moving heart
And what can keep people apart
is what is his, hers, theirs or what is mine
when what matters to the mind
while forgetting what is within the heart.
