We All Animals Are Poem by Sheldon Carruthers

We All Animals Are

We all animals are
Thus far we've come
We're all made of stars
Ashes to ashes dust to dust
What's there to fuss about
Not us
Is God dead? Is God alive?
In either case we must learn to thrive
We all animals are

We're all made of stars I s God dead? Is God alive? How did we become animal like? You are pointing to a naked truth In the present situation of this world. Your poem provokes to think…. thank you very much dear poet. tony

Great rhyme! Great Poem! We all animals are, unfortunately some of us are caged, while others run free, and some only freedom preceive.
