Hindus have always remained tolerant
Offering “no resistance” tempo even at present
“Hindu is way of life ‘and not the religion
This is practiced since centuries in region

They have accommodated almost all religions
Even invaders were accepted with their icons
Parses land at Indian shore and mixed with local population
They have remained non-controversial and faithful to the nation

Even though India remained under slavery for centuries
Foreign rulers only added miseries
Never understood sentiments of people or rulers
And always entered through treaties or by means of wars

Hindus never interfered with any of the religions
They were not considered even alien
But sudden onslaught and forcible conversion endangered faith
Many houses came forward and offered protection

Even though Hindus have remained passive
Many cults, in fact, became more active
They molded their followers into right way of living
To follow simple path and practice faith they believed
