Wavy blue Ocean attracts travellers day and night;
Bay of Bengal sings the Glory of Jagannath with delight.
God’s creation is an everlasting beauty;
Passers-by enjoy the beauty with gaiety.

Ocean kisses the Shore day and night;
As the beloved kisses the lover with delight.
The rivers mingle in the Ocean beautifully;
As Souls mingle in Supreme soul delightfully.

Ocean attracts the rivers day and night;
As God attracts devotees with delight.
Real devotee hankers after salvation;
Drinks the nectar from the lap of creation.

Poet’s mind is broad as the Ocean;
Lives enjoying the beauty of creation.
Depicts verses concentrating mind on Jagannath;
He is the Supreme Soul, a brook of mirth.

Wavy Ocean is the creation of Jagannath;
God is the cause of death and birth.
Man comes for a transient period to Earth;
Ocean remains for ever, man goes with mirth.
