Waves Satisfy Poem by Oni Hayes

Waves Satisfy

The choice of thee received gracefully
No chance of denial
That moment dissolved into delectation

Shame ridden relieved
Awkward looks denied
There is no more to see

Days passed no wonder
Interaction and acknowledgement presented unnecessary
Until the day

The talk we had portrayed the obvious
I, maturity grown, am respectful, and poised
You, maturity deformed, are stunted and worse

Beginning further more fertilized than I
Expectations of expansion drained
Except the omen

Realizing I drastically diverse, you mutter
This, easier than last disconnection
Only waves satisfy
