Wating On You! Poem by James Wilhoite

I've Known you for years
and years on in.
Within these years I have felt
feelings that make my heart melt.

It is different thank anything I have known.
I think this feeling is true love,
the kind of love that comes within two bodies,
and explodes into one soul.

I once came close to telling you how I felt,
but then I got scared because the cards weren't correctly dealt.
You told me you sort of liked another,
so I kept my mouth shut as would any other.

Now things are different,
and we both have grown.
18 you will be next soon.
Hopefully you will soon let your feelings show.

I know I am not on the right track,
and that is fine.
God is in control,
and little by little putting me in line.

For now i will keep on living
being the best to complete this role.
Deep down I am vowing myself to wait
to share a life with the one that’s deep within my soul.
