Waterfall Poem by Kwai Chee Low

Waterfall

Rating: 5.0

Standing beneath the waterfall
Feelings of childhood joy
Free as a bird, a soldier on awol
Splashing and shouting, a real McCoy

As cool waters in endless cascades
Threw itself over humans and boulders
Froth and spray on rocks over decades
With the setting sun, a rainbow over our shoulders

I am in awe of the waterfall
Such strength and complete abandonment
Letting go utterly, it gives its all
A toast to waterfalls, there is no disagreement!
