Water Prodigal 1,2 And 3

In the hot, dry sun
pot gardeners
see pot as one water prodigal,
oleander as two
and canna as three,
...and oleander as one and three
and the other two
as two and three
and one and two,
...and canna as one
and pot as three.
All possibilities do
pot gardeners see.
