Show me how
You might be used

Waterplug in a waterjug
Of what purpose
Or good are you

Can you stop the wrath
Of a winepress
Or fill the belly
Of a desiring beast

A thousand men athirst
Can you give drink
To even one

Waterplug in a waterjug
Go thy way
For you are wanted
By no one

We and our waterjug
Are in no need of a plug

We drink freely
And for sport
Examine water
As it free flows

Give me a drink
Ah, but there is none

For we tossed our waterplug
Behold, there was only one
