Watching The Petals Fall One By One Poem by Suki Nakamura

Watching The Petals Fall One By One

sakura petals
falling like snow on the ground

not melting like
the sorrow of a woman

savoring the pain
so gently with dignity

purification of the soul
strengthening life

hibernating like a fish
for soon it will be spring

the buds start to appear
and the waters shall have its ripples

another flower unfolds
another love shall come and

i shall dance again
like a child on the rain
