Watched Over The World Poem by Breanna Koelliker

Watched Over The World

Rating: 5.0

She spun that revolver hoping it would solve her,
Slowly she put it to her head trying to picture what she would look like dead,
It was a game of Russian Roulette except nobody else was put in the bet,
A thunderous roar poured and the girl fell to the floor,
The silver gun escaped her hand and everything happened just as planned,

Everyone heard what happened but no one cared to fathom,
She watched the reactions that were nothing but pitiless and un-attracting,
They laughed and told jokes and everything to her went up in smoke,
Tears fell from her eyes and she just cried,
No one cared that she committed suicide, they just smiled and abided with the truth they could not hide,

She met the big man upstairs and he told her not to care,
He said 'You're in a better place now, where you dont have to drown, '
'Those tears need to fade and your smile needs to cave, '
He wiped away her dried tears and she felt alive here,
No more numbness, and no more rude people's dumbness,

For once she was content with the past she had regret,
Because with those angels a future await her,
That empty girl felt happy and so snappy,
She began making a difference without any preference,
She lived to help others survive and help them not strive,

A little boy was dying and couldn't stop crying,
She said take my hand and I hope up here you'll understand,
The boy wrote a note and his mother choked up her tears,
The girl and boy flew back up to Heaven and he was greeted with a pavan,
And from that day on the boy and girl watched the over the world and sang a sweet song....
