Watch Your Tongue Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Watch Your Tongue

Watch your tongue

Let us b thankful
And remain cheerful
For having beautiful body
Brain and soul with closeness to divinity

But are we not filled enemies?
With different temperament and varieties
Greed may claim to be of super qualities
Whereas lust and jealousy shall follow afterwards

Selfish is corner stone of all thinking
But it is not everything
One of the most striking enemy remain with no notice
It may have nothing to reveal and promise

The tongue remains most sensitive
We may try to be selective
Use her carefully with restraint
And give her all respect and paint good

Everything shall b watered down with one stroke
She will come out of cage and cut joke
Hurt someone's feelings and turn into hostility
So god has advised us to be watchful for its utility

Wise people say"speak nothing"
Until warrants for something
This is most dangerous gifted part
It may spoil everything once started
