Warzone Poem by Dorsey Baker

Warzone

In the war zone
animal and human
blood run red
In the war zone
the severely wounded
the totally dead
In the war zone
thunder of the bombs dropping
In the war zone
heavy rain of destruction
never stopping
In the war zone
miles and miles
of bodies piled high
In the war zone
its tooth for tooth
its eye for eye
