Warped Reality Poem by Samantha Stough

Warped Reality

Rating: 5.0

Somewhere across a misty, black sea,
Revolution is breaking at dawn
But in this safe little cage of mine,
Time just seems to slowly roll on

I picture metal beasts,
Floating through fog somewhere
It all may have been just a dream,
But I believe they have to exist out there

Stories spun ever so brilliantly,
More precious than silver thread
Heroes are born,
Then the next day to be found dead

Tenacious fools with
Imagined strength,
Fighting for nothing,
To an infinite length

Silence be my savior,
In case my argument will only be found to paralyze
I retire to bed to lose myself in sleep
For this is a warped reality I despise
