Warped Character Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Warped Character

A man who can lie and do wrong,
Who cannot feel remorse, is demented.
His mind may simply wallow along,
But his reason and logic is polluted.

Unable to follow or know good morals,
That man has a warped character.
He can commit crime and not feel at all
Any feelings of guilt thereafter.

Most humans normally feel regret,
Sorrow for causing harm, injury-
But a demented man will never get
Himself to ever feel the need to be sorry.

Delusions of grandeur, the need for control,
Extreme hunger for attention and praise,
Disregard for others, Self on a pedestal,
Shows a psychosis there we can trace.
