Warm And Tender Poem by Mary Forrester

Warm And Tender

Rating: 4.5

Warm and tender is your smile
Your heart a flower growing wild
Your cry loud
But no one heard
Your voice soft
Barely heard
Sang the songs that touched the heart
Your lips now quivering in the dark
Your little boy now lives alone
Mummy's gone and will not return
Warm and tender is your smile
Your heart a flower growing wild.

This is quite beautiful, and a little haunting. I like the tension with freedom here.
