War Of Colors Poem by krissi b'williams

War Of Colors

Rating: 5.0

lets pause for a moment....just a few precious moments of time
and look at all that surrounds us, the earth of yours and mine
and like the acres and acres, islands of land
like the tiny crystal granulates of the beaches sands
let all the souls..become one.....and expand
and connect a forceful bond to make everyone, and everything who
let the future, never have to endure, the hate of another color as has gappened all before
and whoever you believe in the 1 up above...who put theyre faith and trust...in each and every1 of us
let we not fail, but prevail....in the name of love........
never discriminate, never feel nor show hate
look at our past, what did we accomplish? ? ?
wars of colors, they only punish...never finish
just look around...left-right, from the sky to the ground.........
look at all the different colors, that make this world
now look at a child, whether it be a boy or girl
and see their innocence in their smiles
that look, took, centuries to make, eons of time
as bloodlines, mixed and mingled, no1 has a color thats singled
let go of the hate, lets not discriminate
look at all the colors it takes, to make, this beautiful earth
and to what mother nature gave birth
only to love, from the ground to the sky, so high...above

if not for each other, then just give
a helping hand for the future.....love and nuture
so there will still be earth and land
for our childrens children, to live
for every woman, child, and man
let our souls become whole
and lets not fight wars of colors for which we do not understand
lets become 1
like the acres, and, acres of land, to the tiny crystals of the beaches of sand
blended with so many colors, just like one another

Krissi, Let’s us hope for a united world without discrimination and racism, like ‘the acres, and, acres of land, to the tiny crystals of the beaches of sand blended with so many colors, just like one another’ as you said in your poem loudly. Rgds Nooruddeen

i am so tired of racism and or discrimination, as i see you are tired of it 2..maybe we should ban together and voice this poem, for it does indeed tug at the heart, and set the tone 4 the core of it all
