Waqt!

Waqt k dosh pe
her baat ko daala na karo,
waqt ka kiya he
theher jaey to chalta hi nhi
par laga le
to kbhi ruk k palat'ta bhi nhi
waqt rotay huay
chehron ko hansaata he kbhi
or kbhi hanstay huay
dil ko rula deta he
waqt badhta he to bus zeest ko
aandhi de kar
waqt chalta he
syah baalon me chaandi de kar
Kon kehta he
k haalaat sanwar jaen gay
waqt guzray ga,
to hum sath guzar jaen gay
waqt k dosh pe
ik roz bikhar jaen gay! ! !

Poet's Notes about The Poem

A naive argument against the statement, 'let the time come, everything will be set right.' when time will pass, we shall pass also!

Very passionate and philosophical lines on Time. Time writes the story of life on the sand and it; s waves wash it forever. (Report) Reply

Don't make excuse of time for everything. Nice advice for everyone. Please see my poems 'Time Knows Time' and 'Time's Come' which complement your poem. Thank you. (Report) Reply

Yes time has wings and goes by quickly leaving behind both good and bad memories. I agree with you, we can satisfy ourselves by putting all the blame on time and doing nothing but we don’t realize that we can make a difference in our lives whenever we want rather than waiting for the right time. A philosophical poem! ! !

ek bollywood ki movie hai waqt. waqt se takatwar kuchh bhi nahi hai. nature me sab kuchh purana hai xcept waqt jo har pal aata hai aur akar chala jata hai. koi ise muthhi mein bandh nahi paya ise. waqt insaan se kuchh bhi karwa sakta hai. a realistic poem. grand write. (Report) Reply

If I should die, think only this of me:

That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
