Wandering Lost Souls Homeless Outcasts Poem by Terence George Craddock

Wandering Lost Souls Homeless Outcasts

Rating: 4.2

used up wandering lost souls
are cast forth onto homeless
streets into desolate wasteland

selfishness greed
is whip driving outcasts
into discarded cold streets
destitute depression

ostracized great unwashed
wither deemed worthless unnoticed
wall street sanitized is many leagues
safe distanced guaranteed protected
from fallout debris of her greed

wealth is elite
opulent sanctuary
insatiable rich

are estate quarantined
from their smelly riff raft
sweat shop workers

wealth is luxury life lived
upon bent clock in backs
thief industrial immorality

exploitation crimes
are lap luxury good!
check out millions

in fat gross salary paid
to dude hunger CEO of chain
gang fast food companies!

leech empires are built
upon history scorched
face of invaded countries
continents peoples enslaved
freedom resources plundered

despot rulers sit upon glory throne embodiment
a world crippled legacy their destructive waste...
wars seizing lusted for territories time exhuming last
pound of flesh last drop of blood from victim conquered...
masses leaving soulless embalmed husks to fall as roadside dust!

privatized television news reels time out
do not air latest cruelties in foreign factories
work residue third world discarded humanity
succumbs prey to policy corporate campaigns

exploitative wage slave maximum profit

management metaphorical lacerated
bleeding backs testify to systematized
bean counter cruel extraction techniques
global worship illicit accumulated profits

proceeds of sickness greed selfishness
