Walking Now And Forever More Poem by Daniel Sims

Walking Now And Forever More

Walking now and forever more,
Don’t stop for hurt or sore,
Keep going and reach the end
Of the road without a friend.

Friends lost most definitely,
And Her lost most probably,
But don’t stop walking,
Don’t give in or stop hoping.

For at the end of that road,
Where there is no sign or bode,
The feeling of you’ve made it
Awakens and at last you sit.

But instead you continue on,
Through dusk or even dawn,
For there is no end to this road,
And you’ll always carry the heavy load.
