Walking In The Rain Poem by AMyth Kulkarni

Walking In The Rain

Can’t feel the dead cold shiver
It seems it’s been for ever
I’ve made friends with this pain
I am walking in the rain

The rain drops hide my tears
And I am smiling for my peers
They will never know what lies inside
There’s nothing these eyes can’t hide

Yesterday’s happiness haunts me
Today’s loneliness taunts me
Exploring memory’s lane
I am walking in the rain

Now won’t you talk to me?
You know I ain't your enemy
All my feelings going vain
Don’t know what’s keeping me so sane

Life has lost its meaning now
I don’t know why, don’t know how
Nothing to lose and none to gain
I am walking in the rain
