As you walk those miles of life
walk with dedication to the greatness of truth;

as you walk, let there be no thorns under your feet
walk with steadiness to extinguish those fires of your quest;

let your eyes behold every single day as an invaluable wonder
let time reveal volumes of victories of your perseverance;

let your mind focus on actions of valor of justice
let your heart reign with indefinite compassion;

hear every word the wind carries to your ears
speak to be the voice that brings clarity to ambiguity;

search for happiness in your own achievements
as self-satisfaction is the best award one can give to oneself;

no smaller blessing is yours on this earth
than the perennial love and friendship of your parents

no greater reward is yours than God's benevolence
which you will forever receive and cherish.
