Wake Up, Make Up: Fake Love, Make Love Poem by Brooke Peterson

Wake Up, Make Up: Fake Love, Make Love

Rating: 5.0

Wake up,
brush it off,
work it out,
skin-so-soft.

Make-up,
brush my hair,
work all day,
in my chair.

Fake love,
rush the night,
in my dreams,
can't wait till light.

Make love,
rush my life,
wait for you,
to be your wife.

This one is fast and a bit sad for me. Very good emotion conveyed here though. In this crazy fast-paced world, we have to go back to the slowness of past decades I think and sip like they did-the years go by fast enough so take charge and make sure they're good ones. I ACTUALLY LOVED THIS ONE! !
