I kept waiting for you but you didn't come,
Holding flowers in hand,
For you here I stand,
The flowers wilted,
But not an inch I tilted.

Eyes filled with tears,
My heart lost its gear.
Hoping you would come,
To make my day awesome.
Mend my heart with your love,
Give my ceased life a shove.

I tried to believe in the castle made of sand,
For I was not knowing- forever it cannot stand.
Like a child, I kept waiting.
Holding in my hand the flowers,
I kept waiting for you in the April showers...
